Serving Warsaw, Elkhart, and Fort Wayne, IN

The 2017 Nissan Frontier is a light-duty pickup truck that’s available with the King Cab and Crew Cab options. Designed for heavy-duty jobs, the 2017 Nissan Titan is offered in Single Cab and Crew Cab configurations. Under the hood, the Frontier may be equipped with a compact four-cylinder engine or six-cylinder engine that’s compatible with E85 fuel. The Titan is powered by a V8 engine that offers a towing capacity of just under 10,000 pounds. This premium Nissan truck also has advanced active safety features that are part of the Safety Shield suite. Both have enough power and ruggedness to get any job done.

Performance

The 2017 Nissan Frontier has a QR25DE I-4 engine generating up to 152 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque. This 2.5 L engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission system. Rated at 261 hp and 281 lb-ft of torque, the VQ40DE V6 engine works in sync with a five-speed automatic transmission system. This 4.0 L engine is engineered to run on gasoline or E85 fuel. Both engine blocks are controlled by the Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System and Nissan Induction Control System.

Engineered for heavy-duty performance, the Nissan Titan’s 5.6 L Endurance V8 engine delivers 390 hp and 394 lb-ft of peak torque. This eight-cylinder engine is synced with a seven-speed automatic transmission system. Combustion in this powerful engine is precisely controlled by the Variable Valve Event and Lift technology. The Titan is available with a 4×4 drive system that includes a two-speed transfer case and electronic locking rear differential. These mechanical installations are also compatible with some of the Frontier trims. When equipped with 4×4 drive, both Nissan pickup trucks include the Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control.

Appearance

Lava Red, Forged Copper and Arctic Blue are some of the attractive paint options that are available for the Nissan Frontier. The Titan offers more than a dozen exterior colors, including Deep Blue Pearl, SolarFlare Yellow and Java Metallic. Covered in chrome, 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels look great with these unique colors. Chrome also decorates the Titan’s front grille, door handles and folding side mirrors.

Both of these Nissan pickup trucks are available with spray-on bedliners that withstand exposure to the outdoor elements and cargo. The tailgates may be locked to secure any precious cargo that’s stored on the beds, which are fully illuminated with LED lights. Featuring four tie-down cleats, the Utili-track Channel System makes it easy to transport irregularly shaped equipment. Available in select Titan models, the removable TITAN Boxes can store small tools and other miscellaneous items. These signature boxes even include portable coolers.

Safety

The Vehicle Dynamic Control is standard in the Nissan Frontier and Titan. This traditional technology includes the Traction Control System, which improves handling in hazardous situations. As a premium pickup truck, the Titan is available with several accident-prevention features that are part of the Safety Shield package. The Blind Spot Warning gets your attention when another vehicle is spotted in your blind zone. Cars that approach you from behind might also be detected by the Rear Cross Traffic Alert. With some help from the Front and Rear Sonar System, you can confidently park this full-size pickup truck. The Around View Monitor and Rear View Monitor also enhance your awareness of the surroundings.
